The Assembly of the Republic, Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee discussed the “Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill” and the “Draft Law on Certification Officers”.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic convened today at 10.00 a.m. under the chairmanship of UBP MP Committee Chairman Emrah Yeşilırmak and discussed the ’Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill“ and the ”Draft Law on Certification Officers“.
Deputy Committee Chair Filiz Besim, Committee member UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan, CTP MP Ongun Talat and Independent MP Ayşegül Baybars attended the Committee meeting.
According to the statement made by the Assembly of the Republic, the committee first continued to discuss the “Draft Law on Certification Officers” item by item. It was reported that the committee will continue its work on the bill at the next meeting.
Officials from the TRNC Prime Ministry, the Ministry of Finance, the Cyprus Turkish Bar Association and the Cyprus Turkish Certifying Officers Association attended the committee meeting as invited guests and presented their views on the issue.
The Committee then took up the “Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill” and continued to discuss it item by item. It was noted that the Committee will continue the discussion of this bill at the next meeting.
“Officials from the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, the Housing Development Unit, the Union of Cyprus Turkish Municipalities and the Union of Cyprus Turkish Chambers of Engineers and Architects attended the committee meeting on the ”Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill" as invitees and presented their views on the subject to the committee.
